Shipping Policy

Effective date: June 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through www.wildwestgourmet.co.nz.

1. New Zealand delivery only

Our website currently accepts orders for delivery within New Zealand only. We do not currently offer international shipping through the website.

For international enquiries, please contact hello@wildwestgourmet.co.nz.

2. No click and collect

We do not offer click and collect from our premises. All website orders must be delivered by courier or another delivery method arranged by Wild West Gourmet.

3. Delivery addresses

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout, including any rural delivery details, business names, unit numbers, access instructions, or other information the courier may need.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied by the customer.

4. Processing times

We aim to pack and dispatch orders as soon as reasonably possible after payment has been received and matched to your order. Orders paid by internet banking may take longer to process if payment has not cleared or if the payment reference is missing.

Processing times may be affected by weekends, public holidays, stock availability, severe weather, courier delays, or other events outside our reasonable control.

5. Delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, courier network conditions, rural delivery, weather events, public holidays, or other delays.

We will do our best to assist if a parcel appears delayed, missing, or misdirected, but courier delivery times are not fully within our control once a parcel has been collected.

6. Shipping charges

Shipping charges are shown at checkout. Charges are inclusive of shipping, handling, and GST, and vary New Zealand wide. Shipping rates are set by our shipping agent, and are accurate as at June 2026.

7. Risk and delivery

We package orders carefully for courier delivery. Risk in the products passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address you provided, unless the issue is caused by our error or a courier damage issue that is accepted under our returns and refunds process.

8. Breakages or damage during shipping

If your order arrives damaged or broken, please contact us as soon as possible using our contact form, by clicking here. 

Please include:

• your order number
• your full name and contact details
• photographs of the damaged product
• photographs of the parcel, outer packaging, inner packaging, and courier label
• a description of the damage
• the product name and quantity affected.

Please keep the damaged product and packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as the courier may require evidence. 

9. Missing or incorrect items

If your order is missing an item or you believe the wrong item has been sent, please contact hello@wildwestgourmet.co.nz as soon as possible with your order number, photos of what you received, and a description of the issue.
